HOGs are varied and fairly well done, with interactive HOGs, find and place a picture piece, match color patches.

Scenes are fairly clear and items are not difficult to find. If we didn't care for the HOGs, we could switch to a March 3 game. Puzzles are not as easy as you might think, even on easy mode. Most took time and thought to complete. The hint system is very helpful, no transport feature, but the map opens to show you where you need to go next.

Very nice, clear map! Areas are identified by name and picture, and if you choose, it also indicates where we may have missed a collectible. Remove the check mark if you want a lot more challenge finding the collectibles.

Collectibles are very well done and varied. We have 70 coins to buy items for a run down plane. We have 15 various morphing artifacts. There are also 15 pictures that are fairly large, but still easy to miss. Other than the pictures, none of the collectibles are all that easy to spot. Some are quite small and the morphing items morph quickly. The story line in this one doesn't seem like anything new and I wasn't quite sure what we are doing or why, but I do find that I need to play it out and find out.

Even at that, it flowed very well. We are constantly on the move in this addition and there is some challenge. I like this series and this addition is no exception. I think this will appeal to most all levels of players. Yes, I am adding this one to my CE collection. Gave this one a 4.

I think the story line will become much clearer very shortly. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. Play on! I'm not one for fantasy games consisting of a secret city populated by four-armed people, blue giants, and dwarves.

To me, it's sophomoric, but, hey, that's just me. I like a bit more realism. But, I absolutely love museums and artifacts I like this developer, Domini. So, I bought this CE sight unseen. I forgot that there is a land far away they call "Domini", and it's national flag is purple, and the president's car is purple, and the capitol's draperies are purple, and they were nice enough to give me a purple bullhorn as a welcome gift.

The museum's curator even had a purple cassette recorder. Get the purple picture? But, in some scenes the purple palette is noticeably reduced or gently muted, so we know it's there but not in your face. OK, enough of this ranting. The graphics are actually very, very good and the VO's match the characters' movements just about spot-on.

The HOPs are basic junk piles but with good variations to keep it interesting and a match-3 option. You've got a helpful collectible indicator right under your map to let you know what to pick up and where. Loved the puzzles- always play on difficult mode when available. So, the technical aspects are there a point off for the dependency on purple. I played a Secret City game about a year ago and as soon as I saw a four-armed humanoid I quit the game and put it in my "Play Later Queue".

I thought I'd give this series another try with this game. It's a good game- I didn't love it but many will. Happy New Year!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Lastbury from A little irritation!

The game is ok on all fronts. Not much different to most HOGs. The little irritation is really early on in the game. You need to find Big Ben. The game values suspense and paranoia over any other horror cliches, using its engrossing puzzle gameplay to draw players into a world caked in the stench of death and the macabre.

Before long, True Fear will have swept you into its environments, leaving you entirely vulnerable to its toybox of scares and spooks. Players must navigate the labyrinthine complex of an ancient crypt using only their wits and any nearby resources at hand, all while soaking up the devilishly moody atmosphere, laden with mystery and menace.

The Room Two has more layers than a traditional hidden object game, throwing complex environmental puzzles and contextual riddles into the mix. In doing so, however, it expands the confines of the genre to devise a brain strain that is entirely its own thing, design conventions be damned.

Forget your preconceived notions about monochromatic minimalism; every image of Hidden Folks is a tapestry of micro-narratives, bursting with detail and bubbling with life. A modern hidden object game in every sense of the phrase, Hidden Folks is an absolute must buy. Eventide: Slavic Fable This sleeper hit from HOG veterans Artifux Mundi drinks from the same well as The Witcher 3 in terms of creative inspiration, using Slavic folklore as the basis for an intriguing story of half-demons, kidnapped grandmas and potential world collapse.
