Thanks - this makes life a lot easier. DU and others - some queries below in red - hope someone can help. Now running Navcore I'm using Keygen 3. When I go to step 2 choose the. Meta of the map, I followed your instructions and tried to select the meta. You are confusing me here You are using Easyusetools Fronend and in the next step Keygen3. Meta of map in Keygen3. If you need help you have to be prezise ,otherwise I don't have a clue what you are doing!

For the 9. I have been told that because my TomTom One is so old that I can only use Navcore version 7 on it, is this correct? I have been looking for weeks now and am really struggling. I have the easyusetools and have downloaded a navcore v8 and a UK maps but can't seemt oget the combination right to make my TomTom One work.

Please can someone helo me. Thanks in advance guys John please feel free to PM me with any links lol. Originally Posted by Downunder35m. Are you using 3. There should not be any.

Again just to make it clear : 1. Make a new folder in the root of the device and copy all files for the map of your choice in it - don't make a sub-folder for the map files! Start your Tomtom and "play" with it till you got the error message in regards to the map. Check if you have a ttgo. If still not working than you are doing something wrong DU Thanks for getting back - this is driving me nuts as I had managed to get everything working well on my unit but can't get it to work with the SD card which I purchased so that I could add the USA map.

My response is below in red. I'm using 3. DONE - I used Done - One question though. The Aus and NZ maps I copied from my backup and hence they have already had the Keygen run on them previoulsy i. Yes ttgo. As I'm using Navcore As I said : only the map files belong into the map folders! Don't know why you have these other files in there -remove them! You need a patched Navcore for the downloaded maps and your original map won't work with a patched Navcore - so you have to activate it too with the keygen keep your original files and Navcore somewhere safe on the PC.

Just delete all. You run the Keygen from your PC! For the V9 you still need the SE ttsystem to make it work! If you can't get the Keygen3. DU I dleted the 4 "application" files from each of the 3 map folders - when I run Keygen 3. I tried deleting these files again, but each time I run 3. What happened if you use the Easy Activator - same problem? Have you done a checkdisk on the SD card? And last but not least : are you using a card reader recommended or the Tomtom? I re-formatted the SD card and started again.

Yes I am using a card reader deleted existing Keygen folder and unziped a fresh copy reloaded Navcore and map folders onto SD card put SD card into GO and started it - found the 3 maps on my SD card.

Do you think something may be wrong with the USA map - it was a download I received directly from you - not sure if you have ever used it.

The map link would be correct as it is used by several hundreds of ppl. I suggest you try the Easy Activator. You can browse for the correct files with it.

If you use Vista : run the Keygen as administrator. The "brand" folder is ok. Maybe redownloading the map is an option too , but usually you get an error during the unzip if it is corrupted. The exception is the Brand folder and you've cleared that one. I've redone everything and only put the Aus and NZ maps on the SD card - all seemed to work fine, Keygen worked and the maps work. I did notice that on my device now there are 2 copies of each map available when I switch maps - is this normal or should I only be able to see the maps from the SD card?

Does the name of the folder on the SD card realte to the names of maps shown on the device? I'm now trying to load the USA map onto the card and then run the Keygen - will let you know what happens. Thanks for your patience. I then looked at the Aus and NZ folders on the card and now the blowfish, check, keygen and "p" application files are in each of the 3 map folders.

It is a new tool based on Easyusetools by ttuser and it allows you to: activate maps, speedcams and voices see, edit and update meta see and update compatibility charts format disk and make backup of your device see bootloader version selecting "system" file see all informations about your tomtom device id, navcore, map and bootloader version, etc.

If anyone wants to help by translating application in his own language please ask me and I'll send strings. Last edited by catymag; 19th May at PM. Has anyone actually successfully run this to do all the things in the tabs? I tried a simple test to activate a map we have a meta for "Make DCT" and it said no ttgo.

Would also be a great help if the guida. Last edited by biggerdave; 30th December at PM. As with any new tools not posted by team members the quality control is up to the user that downloads it - same for the support. We have trusted and working tools that we support as we know they work fine. The skins change, the features change but the working stuff behind is always the same.

Before posting a new tool in an internatational forum it should be fully tested and at least offer full support in english, including a help. In general I don't like "throw in postings" where someone just dumps a download without proper explanations and instructions - screenshots are always handy If trusted members like BG now say the tool does not work the way it should I recommend leaving this tool where it is until a proper version is available.

Blatant errors like the above only show that a toll is in it's beta state but not fully functional yet. Password for all my files: downunder.
