Descend the stairs. Halfway down you meet up with Headless Nick, who seems to be a little d it'sappointed. After he departs continue down and enter the Entrance Hall.
Ron it's standing next to the front door, so head past him and step outside to Hogwarts Grounds. Once outside take the right side path to Flying Practice, where you will learn to fly your broom. School occupies most of my time so I will make many different updates. This document contains major spoilers. This symbol is a green fist. It is also helpful for defeating creatures and breaking objects within reach. Best used in dark places Duh. Can also be used to open special passages in doorways. The symbol is a shining dot. Can expose hidden entrances. Can be used only for that purpose. Potion Vials: Can be used to fill Harry's health gauge. Must be filled with Wiggenweld Potion. Stink Pellets: Can create a cloud of stinky green smoke that distracts Prefects. Non-explodable Luminous Balloons: Used to distract prefects. Nimbus Used in Quidditch. Can be used to fly around Hogwarts ground. Lost and Found Go to the board in Gryffindor common room. It shows what items are lost. If you find them you will be rewarded with a Famous Witch or Wizard Card!
The Burrow The beginning cut scene starts with you and the Weasleys arriving back at The Burrow. Once you get control of Harry, your first task is to blow up a bottle. Do so by targeting it with L, and pressing X the default button assigned to Flipendo to knock it over.
Fred and George will then tell you to meet them in the barn. Proceed into the barn, and another cut scene will be triggered with George telling you how to knock the gnomes off of the rafters. Follow his directions and knock the 2 gnomes down. After you have done so, Ron, Fred, and George will tell you to meet them out in the garden to get rid of the gnomes once again.
Before you make it out to the garden, however, Fred and George will make you practice dueling against their washing machine. Move out of the way when it shoots out items. It's that simple. This next part is fun and easy. Listen to the de-gnoming instructions, and then get started. If you break Fred's record or hit a target, you will get a Wizard Card.
After you have thrown all of them, a cut scene will be shown with Mrs. Knockturn Alley A cut scene will start off the next day by Harry trying to get to Diagon Alley via Floo Powder, but instead you have been spit out of a fireplace in Knockturn Alley. Go ahead and save at the Save Scroll here, and then go to the furnace and open it by pressing A.
You will go into yet another cut scene with the Malfoys and Mr. After the cut scene, the back of the furnace will open up. Pick up the book with A to learn the Lumos spell. Assign this spell to a button and now proceed through the newly opened furnace passage to a dark corridor. You will hear a unique sound when you get to the right spot and it should say "Push" by the A button at the top right. Press A and the wall will slide back to reveal a new room.
Upon entering the new room, walk forward until you see an imp and vases begin to roll towards you. While avoiding the rolling vases, Flipendo all the vases that that the imp hides behind and then finally Flipendo the imp itself. Go towards the wall push up on the control stick to climb up and over it. A cut scene will show a similar imp in a cage and then an open cage.
Jump down, Flipendo the imp, and pick him up and drop him in the open cage. Climb on top of the now-closed cage to reach the platform above. Head right until you reach a chest. Open it to get an owl treat. Go back to where you jumped up and continue around the corner to a stand with little dots hovering above it.
Go to it and press A, and Hedwig will come. Press A once again to give Hedwig the owl treat that you got from the chest. A ladder will then drop from the open space in the roof. Climb it into the attic. You need to reach the other side, but at the same time you must not make the floor bust open. If you walk onto a certain spot the floor will bust. It isn't hard, but it may take a few tries. On the other side, crawl through the hole and open the door on the other side.
You are finally outside. Head to the big pile of barrels and boxes and go to the side of it. Press A to wall sneak and go continue. The door at the end is locked, but there is a box by the door with a switch behind it. Get behind it and press A to pull and push the box. Pull it back and go to the square button on the wall.
Press it with A and then head back to the stairs. A new door has opened in an alcove next to the staircase that contains another square button. Go in the alcove and open the chest to get another Wizard Card. Press the button with the Hogwarts symbol on it with A. Go back to the door, open it, and you're in Diagon Alley.
Diagon Alley Go up the stairs to find Ginny Weasley and her mom. A cut scene will be shown telling how Ginny lost some supplies and about going to Flourish and Blotts. You have to worry about the big spider, but he mostly just sits there. Sometimes he will charge at you, but he will announce this beforehand with a scream.
He also throws eggs out, which hatch smaller spiders. These are the guys you have to worry about; they will just walk toward you no matter what. Flipendo them to death when they gang up on you, but otherwise, stick to your goal. Your goal here is not to shoot at the spider, but the four colored trees around it. You need to destroy each tree; when all four are destroyed, the spider will fall and the boss fight will be over.
Each colored tree has its own colored health bar that pops up on the bottom after you hit it. The best strategy is to simply strafe in one direction while Flipendo'ing the trees. Don't worry about focusing on one at a time; just Flipendo whatever is in front of you. After destroying all four colored trees, the spider falls. Jump down, grab the beans, and go through the opening to find the life-saving car. After the cutscenes, it's off to Lockhart's office. Unfortunately, the door is locked!
Here, wait for the whirlwinds to make an opening, then run inside. Keep going through the spaces in the whirlwinds, and you'll reach the next room. You have to do the same thing again, and then you enter a hallway with knights. Ignore them, and at the fork go right. You finally reach Lockhart's office. Lockhart relunctantly agrees to follow you to the girls' bathroom. Here, Moaning Myrtle supplies the answer to the riddle that's been perplexing us the whole time.
After a lot of talking, we have another sliding mini-game. This is just like in the beginning, after the Floo Powder mishap. Just stay in the middle and try not to fall off. This is timed, but it's not very hard. There are even little walls on most sides so you don't fall off.
You then have a fight against Lockhart. Yes, this wasn't really in the books, but it is very satisfying, nonetheless. The fight plays out exactly like a dueling match; strafe from side to side to avoid Lockhart's attacks, while you Flipendo him to death. He doesn't have much room to move back and forth, so you can use Charged Flipendos without worry of missing too much. After the fight, head through the door to reach the Chamber of Secrets!
Use the cauldron to make a potion that iwll restore your health, then proceed to the next room. Here, kill the snails that appear, then go through the door on the other side of the room.
Head down the corridor, Flipendo the two rats, and continue in the next area. This is a very large room, with platforms and doors on the ground floor, and a big door on the level above.
Go through the first door on the left -- titled "Lost Tunnel. Through the Lost Tunnel door, Flipendo the snail, destroy the web, and go down the hole. Climb up the levels, then Flipendo the two rats on the path. At the seemingly dead end, cast Verdimillious on the wall to reveal a secret passage. In this room, cross the bridge while avoiding the fireballs and step on the pressure plate to raise a platform.
We're one step closer now! Head to the second door on the left now, the "Dark Hall. Just backpeddle while strafing around the room, all the while Flipendo'ing the knight to death. After the fight, Flipendo the rock until the scene, then drop down the hole. Here, Verdimillious the wall to reveal a secret passage. Through it, drop down to the level below. Flipendo the knight, then step on the pressure plate, and finally use the platform to go up to a ledge.
Flipendo the knight, then follow the ledge to an even higher level with another knight. After destroying it, Verdimillious the center of this room to reveal two platforms. Cross them, then Verdimillious the wall on the other side to reveal an opening. In this new room, kill the knight, the use the platforms on the sides of the room to climb up, destroying the knights along the way.
At the top, destroy the bigger knights, then go through the door. Here, you will find a cauldron to make a health potion, and I recommend doing so if you have even a little health gone. After that, go into the Forgotten Cave door. Kill the slug, then Wingardium Leviosa the rocks. Keep dropping them on the bubble hole in the center of the room to destroy the grate.
After three times, the grate falls allowing you to go down as well. Down here, you find that the area is guarded by trolls. Just like the forest, you have to get through this area by staying out of sight of the trolls. Afterward, step on the pressure plate to raise a platform. With all platforms in the center room raised, jump on each one and proceed into the large door on the upper level.
Here, you find Ginny and Tom, and learn what's really been going on around here. In the end, Tom Riddle summons a basilisk to fight you! Strategy: In the first form, fire Flipendo at it while avoiding its attacks. It fires venom spit at you, which you can easily avoid it you are constantly moving. After the first phase, Hedwig drops a sword and you begin phase two.
Here, avoid the Basilisk's attacks and wait for it to charge up. When it does so, it will fire a beam at you. Hold X to deflect the beam back at the Basilisk. This will lower its health. Keep doing this and you'll have defeated the Basilisk! With the Basilisk defeated, enjoy the ending! You'll also get a tally on House Points, as well as the credits to the game! Quidditch is the most prominent mini-game in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. You practice playing Quidditch several times, and then you have live matches against the three other houses. For the first lesson, you must simply fly in between the poles on the ground. For the second lesson, Wood has you try out two "brooms. Advanced training involves Snitch-catching.
For the first lesson, you must fly through the rings that the snitch leaves behind it. You duel at several points during the game, and you can always practice dueling. These are the specific instances in which you duel.
You are asked to a friendly Wizard duel by Fred and George. Inside the Weasley's house, you have your very first mini-game: you must catch the pieces of pipe that the Weasley ghoul is throwing. This game is very similar to catching the pipes in the Burrow, only you are now catching Ron's slug barf with a dog bowl.

It is your go-to spell. You can then "drop" the object wherever you like. It is mainly used to solve small puzzles. Like you had to guess? It is extremely useful, but you will not be using it very much throughout the walkthrough, as it does not work on most bosses. And if you've read the books, you know that Potions can do anything, like even stopper you from death!
It is not much of a Defense Against The Dark Arts, unless you are using it to run away from something dark. Quidditch Quidditch is most popular sport for non-Muggles. Nevertheless, this is the general overview of the sport, as outlined in the game: The Quidditch Pitch has three goals at each end. The Chasers throw the Quaffle and try to put it through the hoops to score. Watch out for the Bludgers.
These are charmed balls that can knock you off your broomstick. Two Beaters on each team try to keep them away. It's the Seeker's job to find and catch the Golden Snitch. When the Snitch appears, it released Speed Rings that will help the Seeker fly faster. The Burrow After the storybook introduction, we find ourselves at "The Burrow," which is the residence of the red-haired Weasleys. Forest Near the Burrow With this second round of duels complete, we are now tasked with finding Ginny, who is somewhere in the forest near the Burrow.

Diagon Alley Hedwig drops a letter from Hermione, who wants you to grab some ingredients for her. With both ingredients obtained, talk to Hagrid to go back to Hogwarts. After the fight, we have another storybook cutscene, and then it's Polyjuice Mayhem Haha!
Lockhart's Private Lesson After the mini-game, the twosome return to normal and you receive the diary. Valentine's Day When you have control again, you are thrust into another mini-game. Sneaking to Hagrid's House After the race, there is another cutscene, and then we have to talk to Hagrid.
