After the Open, the top 20 athletes from each adaptive division will be invited to compete at an additional online competition that will serve as the Semifinal for three divisions and the final competition for five other divisions. Going to these events is worthwhile! I made a bad decision on the max snatch workout which cost me, and caused me to drop in the rankings. I gambled and went for a bigger number, came within a whisker of it, but missed. My shoulders were completely baked from the previous wod of overhead squats and bar muscle ups, where I got 2nd. That missed snatch cost me. The other thing that probably cost me a podium spot was my weak broad jump. I would also have to say I had so much fun in Laredo.
I go to competitions for the sole purpose to test my abilitys as a Crossfitter and to see where u need improvement, not to mention you get to see HOW amazing people are. Laredo to me has always been very well organized, although their scale for me was a bit tough. Will I do it again?
